Philippe Henriot

Philippe Henriot Philippe Henriot (7 January 1889 – 28 June 1944) was a French poet, journalist, politician, and Nazi collaborator who served as Secretary of State for Information and Propaganda for Vichy France. He was also a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1932 to 1942, representing Gironde. Henriot was known for his influential speeches in support of collaborationism, which eventually led to his 1944 assassination by the French Resistance. Provided by Wikipedia
