Helmut Josef Michael Kohl (Ludwigshafen am Rhein, - Ludwigshafen am Rhein, 16 de junho de 2017) foi um político alemão, Chanceler da Alemanha de 1982 a 1998. Era católico e democrata-cristão.Kohl participou, aos 15 anos, na fase final da Segunda Guerra Mundial como jovem soldado. Juntou-se à União Democrata-Cristã (CDU) em 1947.
