
Pinchas Lapide

From 1951 to 1969, he served as an Israeli diplomat, including a tenure as Israel's Consul to Milan. He played a key role in securing diplomatic recognition for the young State of Israel.
Lapide was the author of more than 35 books, focusing on Jewish-Christian relations, theology, and history. He was married to Ruth Lapide, with whom he shared intellectual and scholarly pursuits. Provided by Wikipedia
