Fritz Selbmann

Friedrich Wilhelm "Fritz" Selbmann (29 September 1899 – 26 January 1975) was a German Communist politician and writer who served as a member of the national parliament (Reichstag) during 1932/33.

He spent the twelve Nazi years first in prison and then, after 1940, in a succession of concentration camps, but survived. After 1945 he became a senior party official and author in the German Democratic Republic. Provided by Wikipedia
