Karl August Wittfogel
Karl August Wittfogel (Woltersdorf, 6 de setembro de 1896 — Nova Iorque, 12 de maio de 1988) foi um sociólogo e sinólogo alemão, conhecido por ter formulado uma teoria explicativa das sociedades antigas denominada "hipótese causal hidráulica".
